Functional Testing & Measurements

After installation (and as part of commissioning), technicians often verify the system behaves as expected using basic measurements and inverter/monitoring indicators.

Common concepts

  • Voltage and polarity checks on strings and circuits
  • Comparing expected vs measured values (within reason)
  • Verifying inverter startup and normal status indicators
  • Confirming monitoring data is present (if applicable)

Always use appropriate PPE and follow safe work practices when measuring electrical circuits.
